The show had an impressive 8.7 overnight metered market. The two-hour “Blind Audition”  debut was up 12% from last fall’s Season 3 premiere on Sept. 10. It was the second most watched show of the night after the 14.1 million who viewed Dancing with the Stars. Last night’s debut was down 30% from its regular time slot bow on Feb. 6, 2012, when it received a 6.7 rating. The show’s Super Bowl-fueled Feb. 5, 2012 show garnered a 16.3 rating.
