Nicki Minaj has confirmed (via Twitter, naturally) that her judicial tenure on American Idol has come to an end. “Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience!” she tweeted. “Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Mariah Carey‘s flack Cindi Berger told ABC yesterday that Carey, too, is walking away from Idol after collecting a reported $18 million last season—in order to free her up for a newly announced world tour, which will kick off in Asia this fall. She’s also finishing up her latest album as well as acting in the upcoming film The Butler. And that’ll do it for the season of battling divas.
