Rapper Nicki Minaj is making a trip overseas as she hosts the 2014 MTV European Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland. She is the first rapper to host the hit award show. Not only is she hosting but she is also performing. She is also making her way to the throne in her promo pic for the award show.
She shared the news with her Barbz on social media saying:
“So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year’s MTV European Music Awards!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!”
She is nominated in four categories that include: Best Female, Best Hip-Hop, Best Look, and Biggest Fans. The Queens native racked up her first number one hit in the U.K. with the single, “Bang Bang” featuring singers Ariana Grande & Jesse J.
