New Black

In the wake of the protests in Ferguson, B.o.B rises up with his mixtape New Black. On the powerful and provocative eight tracks, the bulk of which he produced himself, the Atlanta rapper tackles politics, race, and religion.

“It’s a new world order that we live in … Lies on the lips of every politician,” he raps on “Missing,” while calling for a boycott on the title track (“Hit ‘em where it hurts—their pockets”).

B.o.B is gearing up to release his fourth album in spring 2015. “This album will be more like The Adventures of Bobby Ray to me,” he told Rap-Up TV of his 2010 debut. “But with an edge that The Adventures of Bobby Ray never had.”
