The question isn’t whether inappropriate jokes will be made at Billboard’s May 17 Music Awards. Instead, it’s how many we can expect, now that supermodel, delightfully irreverant personality, and food blooger Chrissy Teigen and rapper-actor Ludacris have been confirmed as the ceremony’s hosts.
“If my extensive collection of all 53 Now That’s What I Call Music compilations is any indication, I am both qualified and honored to join Ludacris in hosting this amazing show that spotlights the best music and artists of the year,” said the former Sports Illustrated Swimsui cover girl in a statement.
Ludacris—who is releasing his eigth studio album, Lusaversal, on Tuesday and also appearing in Furious 7, which releases Friday (April 3)—also helmed the show in 2014. As he said in a press release, “I had so much fun hosting the Billboard Music Awards last year and I can’t wait to be back!”
Nominations for the celebration will be announced Tuesday, April 7. The awards will broadcast on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 17 at 8:00 p.m. EST/PST. [Entertainment Weekly]
