iHeartMedia has announced a trio of promotions within its National Programming Platforms group. First up is iHeart veteran Brad Hardin, who has been elevated to executive vp and general manager. In addition, Jon Zellner is now evp of programming operations and Maynard is the new evp of programming strategy. All three will be based out of New York City and report to national programming chief Tom Poleman.

“iHeartMedia’s strength is built on our great programmers working together to develop great content and experiences for our listeners utilizing our unmatched scale,” said Poleman. “Brad, Jon, and Maynard each have a remarkable amount of hands-on experience programming some of the best local radio stations in the world, making them uniquely qualified to lead our company-wide programming initiatives.”

Hardin has been with iHeart for over 15 years, most recently serving as regional EVP of Programming and company-wide brand manager for iHeartMedia’s Active Rock/Alt stations. Zellner joined the company in 2009 as svp of programming, and recently served as evp of programming. Maynard was until recently an svp of programming and part of the company’s Strategic Review Team.

In other iHeart news, the company recently tapped Rod Phillips as the new leader of iHeartCountry. The Nashville-based position includes oversight of more than 140 country stations.
