Ever curious what’s spinning on the radio in Guam, Cyprus or Malaysia? What about Alaska, Italy, or South Africa?

Well, with Radio Garden — a new web app that arrived this week via Reddit — it’s now possible. With a Google Earth-inspired design, users are able to click from country to country, continent to continent, as the dial moves effortlessly, allowing you to traverse live internet streams from stations across the globe.

The app was a collaborative design, produced by Studio Puckey and Studio Moniker, two Dutch creative shops, as well as the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. Other features on the site? History, Jingles, and Stories. These three portals allow users the option to check out historical broadcasts and a selection of jingles, as well as speeches and testimonials including an Arabic lesson from Montreal and a testimonial about the power of international radio from a conference in Utrecht.

Try Radio Garden here and see where you end up.
