How did music fit into your school year?

Did you listen to music at parties? During study sessions? To relax? While exercising? Trying to fall asleep?

Spotify took a peek at U.S. college students’ music listening behaviors and found some pretty interesting trends. (And it’s not just the biggest schools that streamed the most music, in case that was your assumption.)

Go to Northern Arizona University, University of North Texas and University of Houston for hardcore sleep-deprived music listeners on campus. They landed on both the early bird and night owl lists, according to Spotify’s analysis of listeners who subscribed via the Spotify student deal.

Penn State listens to the most party music. And California State University generally listens to the most music overall on Spotify.
