2015 is looking up for Nicki Minaj!
The X-Games returns to Austin, TX this summer and they’ve added none other than the Young Money artist as the headlining performer.
“I look forward to channeling the energy and spirit from the X Games into a performance Austin will not forget” Minaj told TheWrap.
The ESPN extreme sports event will occur June 4-7 at the Circuit of the Americas. Joining the Anaconda rapper on the Super Stage will be Talib Kweli, Pennywise, Deltron 3030 and more artists to be announced.
The vice president of the X-Games, Tim Reed, spoke about having the Grammy Nominated artist aboard:
Having Nicki Minaj headline one of the nights of X Games Austin is going to be really fun,” said Reed. “We still have other headliners to announce in the upcoming months, but the mix of Nicki Minaj with world-class athletes will make for a must-attend event in Austin.
Tickets go on sale for the Annual X-Games this Friday, January 23rd!
