Apple has announced a recall of all Beats Pill XL speakers following reports of overheated batteries in the popular product. The company said on Wednesday that in some “rare cases” the speaker’s battery posed a fire safety risk and encouraged owners to return it for a refund.

While Apple did not disclose how many Pill’s were being recalled, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission pegged the number at 222,000 speakers in the U.S. and about 11,000 in Canada. The CPSC also went further than Apple in describing what ails the wireless speaker.

“Apple has received eight reports of incidents of the speakers overheating, including one with a burn to a consumer’s finger and one with damage to a consumer’s desk,” the commission said. “Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Apple for a $325 Apple Store credit or electronic payment.”

No other Beats or Apple products are being recalled, the company said. The Beats Pill XL, which is manufactured in China, debuted in November 2013, before Apple’s purchase of Beats By Dre in 2014.
