There’s been an ongoing battle recently between those who hold the rights to music and those companies attempting to profit off of that music through music streaming. Congress has already given an amount that those services have to pay artists to stream their songs, but those services, like Pandora, are appealing to lower those rates. Artists have protested and now some more official people are getting involved  including music publishers and even Congressmen.
