A new music video from Kanye West will air at a Los Angeles art gallery next weekend.
As confirmed by the New York Times, West’s joint clip for recent single ‘All Day’ and upcoming album track ‘I Feel Like That’ will receive its US premiere at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from Saturday (July 25).
The video was directed by 12 Years A Slave filmmaker Steve McQueen and was previously shown during Paris Fashion Week in March.
The New York Times reports that the clip was “filmed in a single nine-minute take at the Chatham Dockyard in southeast England and “follows Mr. West through an empty warehouse as he runs, crouches, dodges, raps, rants, sweats and pants, as if being pursued by the camera or the police or in pursuit himself”.
The two tracks are expected to feature on West’s next album, tentatively named ‘SWISH’.
Meanwhile, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor recently hit out at Kanye West after the rapper claimed to be the “greatest living rockstar on the planet”.
Jack Black, on the other hand, has defended West, describing the star as a “talented asshole”.
Duran Duran also put Kanye West’s name forward to do the new James Bond theme, describing the rumoured singer Ellie Goulding as not “interesting” enough.
