Nicki Minaj surprised fans at the 20th annual MTV European Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 9) when she previewed a new song featuring Skylar Grey.

Grey sung the hook while behind the keys, before Nicki Minaj came in with an emotional verse of disloyalty from someone she’s known since her success.

Nicki Minaj closed her set with “Anaconda.”

In between hosting the show, Nicki Minaj accepted the award for Best Hip-Hop, beating out Kanye West, Iggy Azalea, Eminem and Drake.
