In 2012, 50 was hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit over his single “I Get Money.” 50 has just now won this lawsuit, in which rapper Tyrone Simmons claimed an exclusive license for the song’s instrumental. Simmons levied a suit against 50 Cent and producer Apex over the original beat of the song, which he said he purchased the exclusive license to prior to it’s official release.
