Universal is in need of a little finance cash to finish up this acquisition of EMI. In order to get the dough, UMG is trying to sell off it’s Christian, classical, and German schlager publishing catalogs for $200 Million. Universal is even trying to sell real estate it owns in France and Germany. Apparently they’ve reached out to Bank Of America to find a buyer. Who’s trying to pool their money together and buy that German schlager catalog with me?
