EMI is going out with a bang. While still trying to figure out the terms of it’s sale, the publishing side is suing the creators of the video game Def Jam Rapstar. Apparently 4mm Games and Terminal Reality (the games creators) are illegally used songs by Kanye West, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, and more without permission from EMI. In total, EMI is suing for the illegal use of 54 songs at $150,000 per song. For more info check here.
