According to Billboard, WMG is going through a bit of a slump compared to last year. In Q1, revenues dipped from from $684 million in 2011 to $628 Million this year. Warner blames this on a light release schedule and a general declining music industry. Basically, ish happens. There is some upside though. WMG saw a rise in operating income and a decrease in net losses.
