At the Rock the Bells Press Conference and Fan Appreciation Party in New York City on June 13th, it was announced that several performers would be added to this year’s already enormous lineup.
Big Sean, Curren$y, M.O.P., Sean Price, and Action Bronson have been added to a festival bill that already features the likes of Nas, Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalida, Atmosphere, A$AP Rocky, Method Man and Redman, Immortal Technique, J. Cole, and over 30 other acts.
Festival planners revealed last week that DMX and Jadakiss had been added to the bill, both of whom were present at last night’s press conference. Eve was also added, as was the announcement that members of D-Block and Wu-Tang would be coming together to perform their new collaborative album, Wu-Block, in its entirety.
This year, as they have done in the past, Rock the Bells will hit three cities for two days each – this time in San Bernardino and Mountain View in California, and Holmdel, NJ, with specific lineups created for each city.
Of the new performers, only Curren$y and Sean Price will be added to the August 18-19 San Bernardino event, while Big Sean, Curren$y, M.O.P., Action Bronson, and Sean Price will all touch down in New Jersey during Labor Day weekend.
