Def Jam reigns supreme on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart as Four #1 albums have debuted atop with #1 Release from 2 Chainz “Based On a T.R.U. Story,” selling 147,000 copies.

2 Chainz joins Frank Ocean, Rick Ross, and Nas, as apart of the marquee artists on the label that have the third quarter a great time for Def Jam president Joie Manda.
Following a two-week run from Rick Ross’ “God Forgives, I Don’t,” two-week time from Nas’ “Life Is Good” and one week Frank Ocean’s “Channel Orange.” In total, Def Jam has locked up the top slot for six straight weeks.

Chainz’s album also arrives with the fourth-largest sales week this year. Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” remains the largest selling on the cart with 253,000. “God Forgives, I Don’t,” comes in 218,000 and “Life Is Good,” 149,000 earning the most in the second and third weeks.
