According to Dame Dash, the mishaps that occurred in his deal with New Orleans rapper Curren$y were the fault of his lawyer, Janis Shen. Allegedly, Shen failed to submit paperwork that would have turned the verbal three album deal between Curren$y and Dash’s BluRoc Records into an actual, legitimate contract. Curren$y went on to release that music via Warner Bros. Records.  The suit also claims that Shen botched a deal between Dash and rapper Stalley, who went on to sign with Maybach Music Group.
