It looks like Coldplay will be taking a break from live shows very soon. According to Billboard, frontman Chris Martin told the crowd at a Brisbane, Australia, show last week, “This is the last big show for three years or so,” and added, “I don’t want to stop.” Early in the night, Martin promised the crowd, “We’re going to play for you the best fucking show in our life.”

Coldplay has three gigs set for the end of the year, culminating in a New Year’s Eve show at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center with Jay-Z. [RollingStone]
