Beyonce will now serve as brand ambassador for Pepsi,  in a multi-year campaign deal worth $50 million dollars. Pepsi’s decision came from the desire to develop new and engaging ways to bring in consumers and retailers alike. Beyonce will appear in print and out-of-home ads for Pepsi, as well as in-store advertising. She is also set to appear in “Live For Now”, a global television commercial that will air in 2013. A statement from Pepsi below:

“The Beyonce partnership is the lead example of how Pepsi is pioneering a new way for brands to engage with musical artists, moving from sponsor to partner,” a company fact sheet outlining the deal states. “This creates a creative and commercial collaboration that serves both artist and brand.”
