Beyoncé has signed a global publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music, Billboard has learned exclusively. Effective immediately, Warner/Chappell — headed by chairman/CEO Cameron Strang — will administer the 17-time Grammy winner’s future songwriting, including her anticipated next album.

“It’s an honor to join Warner/Chappell Music and to continue working with my friend Jon Platt,” commented Beyoncé in the Warner/Chappell announcement release. “I trust his vision and admire his professionalism, and I look forward to our partnership.” Fresh off the success of both her Super Bowl XLVII halftime show and her HBO feature-length documentary “Life Is But a Dream,” Beyoncé will kick off The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Europe on April 15, which arrives in North America on June 28.

Platt, who signed Beyoncé, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake and others during his tenure as president of North America creative for EMI Music Publishing, joined Warner/Chappell last September as president of creative, North America. “I am always inspired by her drive, her creative vision and the breadth of her talents as a songwriter, performer and artist,” stated Platt of Beyoncé. “Everyone at Warner/Chappell is honored to have the opportunity to serve this ground-breaking superstar as she continues to evolve, growing her incredible catalog of songs and producing some truly extraordinary new music.”

Beyoncé is the latest high-profile addition to the Warner/Chappell roster. Earlier this week, it was announced that Jay-Z and his Roc Nation firm had also signed worldwide publishing administration deals with the publishing company. In addition to Mike Will Made It, who co-produced Kanye West’s hit single “Mercy,” recent Warner/Chappell signings include the acquisition of Miramax’s film music catalog.

Warner/Chappell, which claimed No. 1 in market share during second quarter 2012, is also home to such writers as Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, fun., Green Day, Muse, Wayne Hector (One Direction, Nicki Minaj), Brantley Gilbert and breakout band Grouplove. [Billboard.biz]
