Two days ago, Lil’ Wayne revealed the cover art of his forthcoming I Am Not a Human Being II album. Now, the New Orleans rapper (and his hair) are discussing the idea behind the cryptic artwork. “[Kanye] said, you know, man, let me do your cover. I saw the cover and I approved it,” Wayne told NOLA in an interview. “He had an explanation behind it — he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful.”
Lesson learned, kids: If Kanye thinks it’s cool, it’s probably a go. I Am Not a Human Being II is out March 26. [Complex]
