That gold-throated, smokey crooner you heard in this season’s “The Walking Dead” promo was UK Blues man, Jamie N Commons, and his track “Lead Me Home.” The Bristol born 24 year-old has the voice of a Chicago soul singer at least twice his age, something he must have picked up while doing junior high school in the Windy City before moving back across the pond.

Exposed to the “rhythm of life,” as he describes it in this exclusive doc, Commons was deeply impacted by American culture before returning to England. And once back home he honed skills like “sneaking out” of classes at Goldsmith University to play live shows in London pubs. It seems he spent his time rather wisely.

“Rumble And Sway,” the follow up to Commons’ 2011 debut, produced by Alex Da Kid, is out now via KIDinaKORNER/Interscope.
