Wiz Khalifa took to Twitter to announce his new deal with the Converse shoe brand. The Pittsburgh native looks to be joining the ranks of Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne, who each have their own shoe line. It seems as if the deal got lined up thanks to Wiz’s fondness of Converse’s Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes (“Chucks”). Wiz initially did an advertisement for the company back in 2011, but he claims that this deal is much bigger than just a commercial appearance. [AlLindstrom]
