Rdio and Shazam have launched their music discovery app in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Mexico.

The Shazam App for iOS and Android enables users to instantly listen to entire songs after tagging them by clicking the “Listen Free on Rdio” link within the app.

Discussing the launch, Jason Titus, CTO of Shazam said: “Working together in six major countries across the globe, we are now providing more than 120 million users of the free version of Shazam the ability to instantly listen to an entire song they just identified exclusively on Rdio.

“The combination of Rdio and Shazam gives music lovers the fastest tagging service and a groundbreaking digital music service so they can identify, save, and organize their music discoveries.”

Rdio Unlimited subscribers can listen to the full song in the app on their mobile device. Users new to Rdio can sign up for a free 14-day mobile trial to hear the complete track.
