Timbaland, talented writer, producer and artist has entered a new publishing deal with ole, an indie publishing company. As part of the deal, Timbaland will co-sign third party sources to his Blue Stone Music Publishing, which will be led by Eric Spence, an executive in his Mosely Music Group record label founded by Timbaland himself in 2005.
In the official news release by ole, CEO Robert Ott, Timbaland and Eric Spence had the following to say about the new co-venture:
“ole looks forward to extending our relationship with Timbaland and developing exciting new Creative talent together,” says ole CEO Robert Ott. “We have a lot of confidence in Eric and look forward to a successful venture.”
“I’m very excited about this new venture with ole. I look forward to us finding exceptional talent,” remarks Timbaland, “There are so many gifted writers looking to make their mark and ole-Blue Stone will be home to the very best of them.”
“The ole-Blue Stone co-venture will be an amazing opportunity for writers to profit from fulfilling their creative potential,” adds Eric Spence.
This partnership between ole and Timbaland is what ole needs as it was looking for a way to strengthen their emerging pop/urban platform as expressed by Ott.
