Launched yesterday at the FIA in Berlin, the new M1X-DJ system is a revolutionary device that will let anyone mix, play and share their music in one portable product. And Philips chose no one other than Armin Van Buuren to help promote it. Whether you are a professional DJ or just a beginner who wants to experience mixing for the first time, the M1X-DJ system is very simple to use with multiple features such as:

– Bluetooth connectivity
– Optimization for Apple iPad and iPhone 5
– DJ 2 app, which will allow you to switch between tracks on your playlist or mix them together
– On board DJ controller, which allows you to scratch your music using professional controllers, grade platters and cross faders
– 5 hours of “wireless” play using D cell batteries

“Fans often ask me what equipment they should buy when they want to start mixing themselves,” said Armin. “A lot of kit can be expensive, so with the M1X I wanted to create something that’s accessible for everybody. The other great thing about the M1X is that you can play it wherever you want, whether that’s the beach, the park or your street: it’s the ghetto blaster reinvented for today.”

The Philips M1X-DJ Sound System will be available on November 2013.
