Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” has reached 200 million streams, making it Spotify’s most-streamed song of all time. The Swedish EDM producer’s Aloe Blacc-assisted global smash has surpassed “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons, which takes the No. 2 position at 182 million streams.
“I’m so excited to be the first artist to reach 200 million streams on Spotify. I’ve had an amazing year, so a massive thanks to all of my fans!” says Avicii.
“Wake Me Up,” which Spotify estimates is listened to 850,000 times a day on average, also holds the record as the fastest song to reach 100 million streams.
