Legendary music producer Timbaland is set to write & produce music for the new Fox pilot, Empire; which features Terrence Howard & Taraji P. Henson. The show is a family drama about the Hip Hop industry & will feature original music.
Terrence Howard’s character Lucious Lyon is a “charismatic, tough, wise and a superstar in the music industry who oversees Empire Entertainment and is about to take the company public,” according to an article published by The Hollywood Reporter last month. “Raised on the streets, he has never backed away from a fight and will resort to any measures, fair or foul, to defend his beloved Empire.”
