Apple users, get ready for the next big thing!
After creating smartphones, tablets, and laptops that are used all over the world, Apple is now releasing its next big invention…a smartwatch!
The smartwatch, which many have already predicted will be called iWatch, has just been set to release this October, and Apple is set to produce around 3-5 million in the initial shipment.
According to reports, the watch is very similar to what would be used in a James Bond or action movie, and it is described as a watch “that double[s] as a computer, two-way radio, mapping device or television.”
Business Insider said of the smartwatch:
Many believe Apple’s iWatch will marry the looks of a luxury wristwatch with the powerful sensors found in today’s fitness wristbands, and, of course, familiar elements from the iPhone and iPad shrunken down and reconfigured to work from your wrist.
Apple will likely tie in many features from the recently announced iOS 8, including the new health app that tracks biometric data from its users and presents it in an accessible way. The iWatch will likely be able to supply this information by being able to measure one’s pulse.
Will you guys be camping out of the Apple store for this one?
