Love him or hate him, whenever Kanye West speaks, people listen.

Recently talking with Power 106, the super producer/rapper spoke on a few subjects including the highest office in the land. West says President Obama lacks power without money and that good ideas and “extreme genius” is cheap.

“You can’t effect change from inside the White House like that,” he said via quotes provided by Radar Online. “You gotta have the money… Good ideas usually aren’t connected to money as much… Creativity and extreme genius are extremely cheap.”

Kanye also said he’s on a “mission from God” and that one shouldn’t go against “the power.”

“You do not want to go against the power,’ he said. ‘I’m working on one mission, and that’s a mission from God… Don’t worry about how I’m saying what I’m saying. “Look at what I’m saying and how I feel and how my intent is.”

In other recent Kanye West-related news, the rapper released a statement via Def Jam Recordings in regards to the absence of Annie Leibovitz as photographer for his wedding. West recently talked about the famed Vogue photog and was disappointed she wasn’t in attendance. ‘Ye has since forgiven the situation since as the statement relayed, “Kanye and Annie’s representatives were in negotiations for weeks that were not completed by the time of the wedding.”
