Jay Z’s Made In America festival featuring acts like Kanye West, Imagine Dragons and Afrojack takes place in downtown Los Angeles this weekend. It’s going to bring upwards of 30,000 people, and it’s going to be pretty unwieldy to navigate around Grand Park, so here’s what we know about street closures, Metro detours and how to get there if you’ve got tickets.
The grounds are contained this way: Los Angeles Street on the east, Grand Avenue on the west, Temple Street on the north, Second Street on the south, Downtown News reports. Gates open at noon and the last act of each night will be done playing at 11 p.m.
Road Closures
Tomorrow: As the festival sets up, expect First Street to be closed between both Main Street and Grand Avenue, and Spring Street and Grand Avenue starting at 7 p.m. Between First and Second Street, expect Hill, Broadway, Spring, Main and Olive to be closed also, starting at 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: The two festival days. Between Temple Street and First Street, Hill, Broadway, Spring and Main will be closed. First Street between Main and Spring and Spring and Grand will be closed, as well as between Main Street and Los Angeles Street. Between First and Second Streets, Hill, Broadway, Main and Olive will be closed. Main Street will be closed between First and Second Streets. Only southbound traffic will be permitted on Grand between Temple and First.
Also, know that Metro Bus Lines will be heavily affected. Impacted lines include 028, 068, 070, 076, 078/079/378, 083, 092, 096, 487/489, 728, 770, Silver Line (910). Full detour information on these lines is available here.
If you are headed to the festival, Metro suggests the following train stations:
Take the Red, Purple or Gold Line to Union Station. Exit to Alameda Street. You can then walk to the N. Gate by heading south from Los Angeles Street to Temple Street.
Take the Red or Purple Line to Pershing Square. Exit towards 4th Street and walk north on Hill Street to the South Gate. This is the shortest walk.
Take the Gold Like to the Little Tokyo/Arts District Station. Walk west on E. 1st Street in the direction of L.A. City Hall to the South Gate.

Metro will also have incentives (yet to be announced) for riders, but the biggest incentive is probably not having to deal with traffic and parking.
