Interscope Geffen A&M Records has announced the appointment of Aaron Bay-Schuck as president, A&R. In this post, he will oversee all aspects of A&R and creative development for the Universal-owned record label group. He is based in Los Angeles and will report to Interscope Geffen A&M chairman and CEO John Janick.

Bay-Schuck joins IGA following ten years at Atlantic Records, where he was promoted to senior vice president, A&R in 2012. In his tenure there he signed and developed Bruno Mars, and worked with Flo Rida, Cee Lo, B.o.B and others. As well, he conceptualized and helped write Flo Rida’s chart-topping breakthrough hit “Right Round,” which featured Ke$ha and went five-times platinum in the U.S., selling more than 10 million copies worldwide.
