“I wrote this record because I was going through a painful time creatively and I totally wanted to numb the pain,” she tells Billboard. “It came from a darker place in my personality.” Thankful for her renewed success, Jayne, whose last chart hit, “Party People (Ignite the World)” was released in November 2011, says, “It’s incredible to come off of a nearly two-year hiatus, trying other things that I ultimately didn’t enjoy, then return to my roots, my core, my authentic self … and hit No. 1!
“I love all of the remixes on this package, I love the entire team behind my brand and I am truly grateful to all the DJs.”
