“The Hanging Tree,” taken from the ‘Mockingjay – Part 1’ soundtrack, is currently at the 29th spot after midweek sales
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 may be dominating the U.K. box office, scoring the year’s biggest opening weekend with $19.9 million, but Jennifer Lawrence looks to have landed a more unlikely chart positioning elsewhere.
The actress sings on “The Hanging Tree,” which is included on the film’s soundtrack. According to the U.K.’s Official Charts Company, the song is now positioned at number 29 on the charts after calculating midweek sales.

The figures also indicate that the charity single Do They Know It’s Christmas, which features the likes of One Direction and Bono, and is aimed at raising money to fight Ebola, could be bumped from the top spot after just one week. The single is currently narrowly beating These Days, the first single by Take That since singer Jason Orange quit the band, having sold 351,000 copies so far.
