Rolling Stones guitarist joined boy band for performance on last night’s series final
One Direction were joined by Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood as they performed live on The X Factor final last night (December 14).
The boy band played their song ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ with Wood joining in half-way through the performance on guitar.
‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ appears on One Direction’s latest album ‘Four’.
The album was released last month and had been rumoured to be the final LP from the boyband. However, the band recently confirmed to NME that they intend to release a fifth album in the future, following an arena tour scheduled for 2015.
Speaking at the inaugural BBC Music Awards in London last week, Niall Horan confirmed there would be a follow-up to their latest album, despite Liam Payne cryptically saying: “We’re just so happy that this album (‘Four’) has gone really well for us and it’s kind of given us somewhere else to go with music now, if we do happen to do another one…”
One Direction began their career on The X Factor in 2010, when they lost out to eventual winner Matt Cardle. Last night’s final was won by Ben Haenow and has been revealed as the least watched final in the last ten years.
