For the past 16 years, Red Bull Music Academy has presented creative workshops around the world, from Tokyo, where they just wrapped, featuring performances by everyone from Carl Craig to James Holden, to Cape Town, and everywhere in between. Their unparalleled cultivation of young musicians and creative minds has been inspiring to watch, and it looks like it’s only getting bigger and brighter in 2015, with the announcement that the next RBMA will take place in Paris, France.
Beyond being a global hub for the creative arts, the wealth of dance talent to come out of France over the past decades is undeniable. French electronic masters like Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier and M83 have paved the way for modern luminaries like Justice, DJ Snake, Madeon and many more.
If you’re an aspiring producer, and would like to take part in the Academy, you can pick up a RBMA application next month. The submission period will run from January 14 to March 4, 2015.
