Haim guitarist and vocalist Danielle Haim was involved in a car accident on Friday (February 6) while on the way to a pre-Grammys party.

A band representative has told Billboard that the singer is “fine”, though the incident did cause her to miss the event, as well as last night’s annual Clive Davis pre-Grammys gala.

It’s currently unclear whether Danielle will attend tonight’s award show, where Haim are nominated in the Best New Artist category.

Last month, Haim – made up of sisters Danielle, Este and Alana, plus drummer Dash Hutton – revealed that they’d began work on a second album by tweeting a photo of producer Ariel Rechtshaid in front of a computer with the accompanying message “Uh ohz”. The band’s debut album ‘Days Are Gone’ reached Number One in the UK on its release in September 2013.
