Rihanna’s not the first person to use the phrase (or title a song) “Bitch Better Have My Money,” a fact that she herself acknowledged by posting a clip of the 1988 blaxploitation parody film I’m Gonna Git You Sucka right before the song premiered. But now she’s dealing with accusations that she stole the track from an artist named Just Brittany, who released a song called “Betta Have My Money” nine months ago. As The Fader notes, the hooks are lyrically pretty much the same, though different in melody.
