After it was reported last month the late Texas pop star Selena was suing UMG Recordings for money due from digital royalties, it now seems the two parties has settled.

In a court document filed Friday, the estate of Selena Quintanilla had agreed to voluntarily dismiss the initial suit filed in U.S. District Court in New York on March 31, the 20th anniversary of the singer’s death. No additional details on the agreement were included.

The original lawsuit stated that the estate should get 50 percent of UMG’s net receipts from licensing or selling her music to third-party digital content providers, according to two 1993 agreements. It also said an audit of documents from July 2009 to present found UMG miscalculated royalties and “grossly underpaid” the estate.

Quintanilla was killed in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 31, 1995, by the president of her fan club, Yolanda Saldivar. Saldivar is serving a life sentence. [Billboard]
