U2’s hotly anticipated Innocence and Experience tour kicked off in Vancouver Thursday night. And although fans and critics are raving about the show, it didn’t go off entirely without a hitch.

The Edge lived up to his name at one point during the evening, walking along the edge of the stage and accidentally falling off it. Despite the drop, U2 continued the concert without much fuss — they’re more experienced than innocent at this point. Later on the band’s Instagram, he assured fans he was doing alright (and even joked about it).
