Tidal CIO Vania Schlogel, Roc Nation CEO Jay Brown and SB Projects founder Scooter Braun are among the first industry executives confirmed as panelists for the 2015 Revolt Music Conference (RMC). The second annual conference, billed as “the merging of music, technology and innovation,” will return to Miami and the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Oct. 15-18.
Rounding out the initial list of panelists announced today are Universal Music Group general counsel and executive VP, North America Jeff Harleston, Atom Factory chairman/CEO Troy Carter, Macro CEO Charles King, Def Jam exec. VP No I.D., Epic VP, A&R and creative development Randall “Sickamore” Medford and Maverick head of digital operations Abe Burns. Additional panelists and keynoters will be revealed in the coming weeks. Revolt vice chairman Andre Harrell will once again serve as RMC chair.
In a press release announcing the 2015 conference, Revolt chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs, stated, ” Last year, RMC brought together the hottest acts and the most influential leaders and speakers in entertainment, media and digital to start a new conversation about the future of music. This year we will bring the conversation to the next level as we explore new ideas and important innovations that will further engage new audiences and open up new frontiers of success.”
With last year’s conference drawing more than 1100 attendees, Revolt CEO Keith Clinkscales says this year’s programming will expand to feature more keynoters and live performances plus increased VIP events and experiences.
