Here’s a look at the latest artist signings across the music industry, including record labels, artist management firms, publishing companies, booking agencies and more.

RECORD LABELS

— Republic Records welcomes singer, performer and actress Hailee Steinfeld to its artist roster. The Academy Award-nominated actress, who recently starred in Pitch Perfect 2, is currently in the recording studio working on her debut album.

— Singer-songwriter Melanie Fiona signs with Title 9 Productions/Primary Wave BMG label services for the release of her third album, Awake, which is due this fall.

— Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic Records signs Dutch band Chef’Special. The group made its U.S. debut with a self-titled EP on June 2.

— Rock band Audiotopsy — featuring Mudvayne members Greg Tribbett and Matt McDonough — signs a worldwide deal with Napalm Records. The group will release its debut album this summer.

— BMG inks 17-year-old singer-songwriter Jacob Whitesides to a global partnership for the creation of his record label, Vital Music. Whitesides will serve as the label’s CEO, while Billy Mann’s management firm, Manncom Creative, and BMG, will handle operations.

— Singer-songwriter Lisa Mitchell signs with Play It Again Sam. The Australian-based artist recently dropped her new single “Wah Ha” and will release a new album in 2015.

— Atlantic Records nabs New York-based reggae/dancehall artist Kranium. The artist recently made his major-label debut with the release of his new single “Nobody Has To Know,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

— British-Nigerian singer Ola Onabule joins the roster of New York-based jazz and world music label Dot Time Records.

— Warner Music Group signs a global catalog deal with Phil Collins. The agreement will encompass newly re-mastered deluxe editions of Collins’ eight studio albums, along with other curated titles from the vaults.

— Century Media Records naps Swedish rock band Dead Lord. The act’s second album, Heads Held High, will be released in August.

DISTRIBUTION

— Dave Stewart signs an exclusive worldwide marketing and distribution deal with Membran/The Orchard. The deal provides worldwide physical and digital distribution, as well as marketing infrastructure, for releases by Dave Stewart Entertainment.

MARKETING

— Rock band Scorpions inks with Primary Wave Entertainment as the group’s exclusive marketing agency. The company will head up marketing efforts for the act’s upcoming tour and album, Return to Forever, which arrives in North America later this year. Scorpions is celebrating its 50th stage anniversary.

— The Windish Agency inks The Drums, Daniel Bachman, Mexrrissey, Saun & Starr, Bearson, Kung FU, OMI, Pale Honey and Georgia, and Nicolas Jaar.

— The Agency Group signs: Norah Jones, The Waterboys, Beth Orton and Curtis Harding.

— Paradigm adds: ACES, Alessia Cara, Audio Push, Chef Special, Cody Jinks, Coleman Hell, D.R.A.M. (represented by Paradigm and AM Only), Dana Buoy, Elliot Moss (represented by Paradigm and AM Only), The Glorious Sons, The Heirs, James Vincent McMorrow, Jonathan Jackson + Enation, Kim Campbell, The Lees of Memory, The Lonesome Trio, Los Rakas, PHASES (represented by Paradigm and AM Only), Polly A, Rising Fawn, Rock City, Ryan Beaver, Sammy Brue, Savoy, Scott Helman, Skrizzly Adams, Streets of Laredo, SunSquabi, Whitey Morgan, WhoMadeWho and Yazz.
