Seth Meyers, Ray Romano and Chris Botti are joining longtime Stand Up for Heroes performers Jon Stewart and Bruce Springsteen and returning performer John Oliver at this year’s benefit for wounded veterans.
Stand Up for Heroes, presented by the New York Comedy Festival and the Bob Woodruff Foundation, is designed to raise awareness and funds to support injured service members and their families.
Stewart has performed at the Madison Square Garden event for years and Springsteen has performed at all Stand Up for Heroes events since its inception, auctioning off multiple guitars to support the Bob Woodruff Foundation. Oliver performed in last year’s show.
Additional past performers at the annual event include Stephen Colbert, Louis C.K., Jim Gaffigan, Ricky Gervais, Conan O’Brien, Jerry Seinfeld, Brian Regan and Robin Williams. Over the last eight years, Stand Up for Heroes has raised more than $27 million to help injured service members and their families.
