She may sing about being a nightmare dressed like a daydream, but in real life, Taylor Swift can more accurately be described as an all-around champ.
Vevo just announced that the singer’s second single off 1989, “Blank Space,” is the most-viewed video in Vevo’s history. Currently, the tune is registering 1,232,777,634 views — yes, that’s as in billions.
“Blank Space,” which will likely be a major contender at the Grammys, is Swift’s foray into self-parody. Of people not understanding the character she’s playing in the crazy video (below), she recently told GQ, “I knew some people would hear ‘Blank Space’ and say, ‘See, we were right about her.’ And at that point, I just figure if you don’t get the joke, you don’t deserve to get the joke.”
Here’s hoping you all got the joke.
