Steve Aoki recently spoke on air with CNBC’s Andrew Sorkin regarding the role of streaming platforms in his revenue stream.
When discussing whether services like Spotify are healthy for the music business, Aoki jokingly says the earnings generated from that are “definitely more of a pension plan.” He adds that his immediate income comes from live performances. Watch the interview below:
