The legendary Clive Davis is scheduled to speak at this year’s SXSW music festival. All the details you need can be found below:
Clive Davis will speak at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media Conference and Festival on Thursday March 14, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. the festival announced today.
His speech comes shortly after the release of his new autobiography “The Soundtrack of My Life” which is set to come out Feb. 14.
Davis, who is currently the CCO of Sony Music, has won five Grammys, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and is Chief Adviser to the Department, Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University.
Davis, who has headed-up Columbia Records, Arista and J Records, is in a league of his own when it comes to music business experience and successes and was named a special honoree in Billboard’s 2012 Power 100.
SXSW runs this year between March 8-17.
