TMZ reports that Lil Wayne has reached a settlement with promotion company Red City Entertainment, which sued the New Orleans rapper for allegedly getting drunk in the Bahamas and sleeping through a scheduled performance in 2009. According to court documents filed in New York, Wayne and Red City settled outside the courtroom in early January, TMZ reports.
Wayne had insisted he did not sleep through the gig, even though police found him unconscious in his hotel room. Instead, he claimed the show had been cancelled because of technical difficulties. “At no point did I become so intoxicated that I passed out on a bed in my suit, or anywhere else,” he told TMZ at the time.
